A visa is required to enter Russia. Participants should check with their travel agencies and Russian Embassy or Consulate for the latest Russian immigration regulations. Visitors must carry a valid passport. The Organizing Committee of the Conference will provide a Letter of Invitation.

In order to receive the Letter of Invitation, you should fill in the questionnaire, which can be downloaded from the Conference website or to see it below.

Send filled questionnaire to Alexey Gurulev gurulev@lin.irk.ru Upon receipt of the Letter of Invitation from the Limnological Institute, please contact the Russian Embassy or Consulate in your area for getting the visa well before your departure.

Please fill in the questionnaire and send it with scanned copy of your passport to the following e-mail address gurulev@lin.irk.ru

  1. Birthdate
  2. Citizenship (second citizenship or more if available)
  3. Passport number (dates of issue and expiry, scanned copy of pages of your passport where they are indicated)
  4. Country of birth, place of birth
  5. Name of the region where you live now (Prefecture or Canton, or Province, or State and so on... as is customary in your country)
  6. Country of permanent residence
  7. Name of your organization, its mail (full) address, telephone, fax, your position
  8. Planned visiting period in Russia and Irkutsk.
  9. Cities you plan to visit (transit) on the territory of Russia (not more than 6).
  10. Where you are going to apply for visa (the city where the Russian Consulate is available).
  11. Scanned copy of your passport (including indicated dates of issue and validity of the passport).
